for those of you who haven't heard, central texas is currently suffering due to wildfires. the extreme drought along with strong winds have created the perfect enviroment for wildfires. i personally know several people who have lost their home and many more who are unsure if they still have a home. kelby's pre-k teacher is one of the victims of the wildfire. they lost everything :(
yesterday i snapped a few pictures of the clouds of smoke. we live about 30 miles from the fires. one fire is said to be 16 miles long and 6 miles wide.
